We associate yogurt cake mainly with summer baking when we add fresh fruit to it. However, this dessert can also win our hearts in winter. All you need to do is use the right additives and after a while you will have a delicious, moist and soft baked goods. We show you how to make it.
Yogurt cake can be prepared in many different ways. In summer, we usually use blueberries, currants or strawberries. However, in December it is worth preparing a winter version of this sweet delicacy.
We will need dried cranberries and white chocolate for this. Thanks to this, we will create unique ones, perfect for December. To prepare it we will need the following ingredients:
- 250 g of wheat cake flour,
- 2 eggs,
- 200 g of natural yogurt,
- 150 g sugar,
- 80 g of butter,
- 1 pinch of salt,
- 1.5 teaspoons of baking powder,
- 150 g white chocolate,
- 200 g .
Preparing a yogurt cake with winter ingredients does not take long, so it is a perfect delicacy when you have little time to prepare it. The first step is to melt the butter in a pot. We set them aside to cool down pour into a bowl, mixing with sugar. Then add the yogurt and mix at low speed.
The next step is to break the eggs, separating the whites from the yolks. Beat the egg whites with a mixer until stiff, and add the yolks to the rest of the ingredients. We also add sifted flour and baking powder to the bowl. Mix everything thoroughly and add the egg white foam, gently mixing it with the remaining ingredients.
Line a baking tray with paper and pour the dough into it. Add cranberries and finely crushed white chocolate. Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees Celsius for about an hour. After baking, decorate the cake with icing or icing.
