App driver kills young trans woman and is released after taking body to police station

Crime occurred on the 90 km route between the cities of Barreiras and Luís Eduardo Magalhães, in western Bahia

An 18-year-old trans woman was killed on Saturday (6) with a rear-naked choke by an app driver in the West of . In a note sent to Young Panthe Civil Police of Bahia (PCBA) reported that the suspect took the young woman’s body to the Luís Eduardo Magalhães police station and was released to be released for “having presented himself spontaneously and confessed to the crime”.

The app driver’s identity was not revealed. The victim was identified as Rhianna Alves. According to a police report, the crime occurred on the route between the cities of Barreiras and Luís Eduardo Magalhães.

The case is investigated by the Luís Eduardo Magalhães Territorial Police Station, where the suspect presented himself.

According to information from TV Oesteaffiliate of Rede Globo in western Bahia, they met in Barreiras. The app driver would have hired the victim for a program.

After service, the suspect was taking Rhianna home, in Luís Eduardo, when there was a disagreement between them.

The app driver told the police that, during the 90 km journey between the cities, the victim had threatened to expose the program and accuse him of rape. He reported that he applied the rear-naked choke when Rhianna made a move to get something from her bag.
