Senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL) will meet on the night of this Monday, 8th, the presidents of at least three parties to talk about his plan to run for President of the Republic, in the 2026 elections. The meeting will be held at Flávio’s house in Brasília, at 9 pm, and will be attended by the presidents of the PL, Valdemar Costa Neto; from PP, Ciro Nogueira; and from União Brasil, Antônio Rueda.
Marcos Pereira, who presides over the Republicans, was also invited, but replied that he would not be able to participate. Flávio tries to capture the support of the four acronyms for his name, with discussions to nominate a running mate.
The meeting comes three days after Flávio stated that he received the support of his father, the former president of the Republic Jair Bolsonaro (PL) to be the Bolsonaro name in next year’s presidential elections – a vote that was contested with names such as the governor of São Paulo, Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicans).

On Sunday, Flávio stated that he would only give up his candidacy if his own father, who is ineligible and in prison, ran.
