Developed by the Government of Piauí, SoberanIA will be launched this Tuesday (9) in Brasília. According to the management of governor Rafael Fonteles (PT), it is the first model with a database 100% in Portuguese.
The project had investments of R$35 million from the Ministry of Science and, in partnership with the Federal University of Piauí (UFPI).
SoberanIA will be gradually incorporated into public services, in professional guidance projects and support for entrepreneurs. It will also offer improvements in the preparation of official documents and more agile responses in digital service channels.
“It is extremely important to ensure that technological innovation serves the common good and is not concentrated. A country’s wealth will be increasingly linked to the amount of data and the ability to analyze it. It is no surprise that the richest countries are the ones that invest the most in this”, says Fonteles.
