The Brazilian Championship is over, but there are still national teams with commitments in this final stretch of 2025. National and Copa Libertadores champions, Flamengo is now preparing for their debut in the Intercontinental Cup, the former Club World Cup.
The Rio club debuts in the competition in the second phase, against Cruz Azul, playing in the Americas derby. The game takes place this Wednesday (10/12), at 2pm, at the Ahmad bin Ali stadium, in Qatar. The winner of the match qualifies for the third phase, which takes place on Saturday (13/12), also at 2pm, where Pyramids, from Egypt, awaits.
The winner of this clash will face PSG, current Champions League champion, in the tournament’s final, next Wednesday (17/12), also at 2pm, at Ahmad bin Ali.
