The police charged a 67-year-old man with the crime of dangerous threats, which he committed on Friday (December 5) in the night in Snin. As TASR was informed by Jana Ligdayová, spokeswoman of the Regional Directorate of PZ in Prešov, under the influence of alcohol, he entered the children’s room, approached his sleeping son with a knife in his hand, and when he woke up, he began to threaten to kill him.
“He then left the room, but returned with a second knife in his hand and again threatened to kill his son. The son managed to escape from the apartment.” the spokeswoman added. The police detained the man, he ended up in a police detention cell. If he is found guilty in court, even considering that the act was committed against a protected person, he faces a prison sentence of six months to three years.
