Experience that pays off
Last year, Stokrotka ran the “On the Job Training” program. This is an initiative in which head office employees joined store teams. They unloaded deliveries, put away goods and served customers. Thanks to this, they experienced work organization, seasonal workloads and current challenges of the facilities.
Concrete decisions, real changes
The conclusions from the program translated into significant actions and improvements. The goal is one thing: to make the work of employees easier and to strengthen customer service, especially in December, when store visits increase and shopping baskets are larger than usual.
– In the Christmas rush, every minute and every pair of hands counts. The company’s vision is created when we work hand in hand with store teams. Thanks to joint preparations, customers can do their Christmas shopping efficiently and conveniently – emphasizes Tomasz Denka, Stokrotka’s operational director.
Working together brings results
The network’s strategy is based on closeness with employees, cooperation and dialogue. This can be seen in internal activities, competitions and development programs. Stokrotka focuses on people and their everyday work, which is why a new version of “On the Job Training” will be launched in the coming year.
The holidays start earlier than customers think
You have to prepare for December for weeks. This is delivery logistics, offer planning, training, but also analysis of what the team learned during “On the Job Training”. Thanks to this, Stokrotka is entering the holiday season with a well-thought-out plan, ready-made stores and teams that know well how to ensure customers have a peaceful shopping experience.
Technology and good solutions support people
Stores implement solutions to improve everyday work, from technology to practical organizational facilitations. This combination of teams’ experience and modern tools makes shopping convenient even during the busiest times.
Daisy close to people
The chain operates nearly 1,000 stores and employs approximately 12,000 employees. In many towns, it is a store “around the corner” – a place to which those who come to visit their loved ones for the holidays also come back. This year, Stokrotka won the title of the region’s Largest Employer and is implementing further initiatives to support employees and customers.
