Heavy rain puts almost the entire continent under yellow warning

According to IPMA forecasts, the precipitation will also be accompanied by strong wind on the coast and in the highlands, “especially in Minho and Douro Litoral”.

This Tuesday starts with rain across practically the entire country. With the exception of Bragança and Guarda, the remaining districts of mainland Portugal are under yellow warning.

In Madeira, the south coast and mountainous regions are under orange warning until 12:00.

The districts of Braga, Porto and Viana do Castelo are under orange warning due to maritime unrest. The warning is in effect until 3:00 pm. The remaining coast of mainland Portugal is under yellow warning.

Minimum temperatures will range between 5 degrees (in Guarda) and 18 degrees (in Madeira) and maximum temperatures between 8 degrees (in Guarda) and 22 degrees (in Madeira).
