Kate Winslet didn’t put a napkin in front of her mouth, a sharp critic of the alarming phenomenon: It’s scary!

In a new interview for the British newspaper The Times, Kate Winslet openly addressed the trends that, in her opinion, are destroying the health and self-confidence of today’s women. The Oscar winner describes the current obsession with cosmetic procedures and weight loss drugs as an alarming phenomenon.

“It’s scary,” Winslet said of cosmetic injections, which she says make women look like each other. “It’s devastating. When a person’s self-esteem is so closely tied to how they look, it’s scary. The fact that a person looks the same as others is a horror,” thinks the star of the films Titanic or Preadčeter.

The actress also draws attention to the growing use of slimming products. While she appreciates that some actresses dress the way they feel good, regardless of body shape, she also says that so many people use diet pills.

“Some choose to be themselves, others do everything to not be themselves. And do they even know what they’re getting themselves into? The disregard for their own health is terrifying. It bothers me now more than ever. It’s a complete chaos outside,” thinks Kate. In addition to celebrities, she also criticizes ordinary users of cosmetic injections.
