A 1-year-old girl, killed by an Israeli sniper, is one of the three people who died this Sunday by fire from the Israeli Army in the Gaza Strip, as reported this Monday by the Ministry of Health of the Palestinian enclave. In its daily report of deaths, which refers to those of the previous day, Health indicates this Monday that two bodies were also recovered from the rubble of the territory, which increases the number of deaths in Gaza by Israeli fire to 70,365 since the beginning of Israel’s offensive in October 2023 in response to Hamas attacks. According to what a Gaza Health official told EFE, the girl was hit by a sniper in the Fash Farsh area, near Rafah, in the south of the Palestinian enclave. The other two deceased are two men who died in the Jabalía area, in the north of the Strip, according to the same source. The Palestinian authorities have also denounced this Monday the death of a second Palestinian shot on Sunday by Israeli troops in the city of Qalqilia, located in the West Bank, after being detained by Israeli forces during their raid, during which he was seriously injured.
