Miro Jarošwho has been working on children’s music for more than a decade, has built a solid position on the Slovak music scene during that time. His songs, such as Clean handshave become an integral part of many households and his concerts are regularly sold out. However, Jaroš’s work has long since crossed the boundaries of the children’s audience. Not only children and their parents, but also teenagers and grandparents meet at his performances, which confirms his status as a multi-generational artist.
“I am completely happy about it. I see it at concerts that now babies come, then kindergarteners, and what pleasantly surprises me is that teenagers also come. Young parents, elderly parents and even grandparents come.” he says Miro Jaroš. According to him, the upcoming April disco show in Bratislava will be the biggest he has ever prepared for families with children in Slovakia. Fans can look forward to an extended program full of greatest hits such as disk, Pizza Dance, Slide or ageless Balloonwhich has surpassed 116 million views on YouTube.
In addition to their own creations, well-known hits from the 80s and 90s will also be played in special mixes by DJ Mark Dann, which is guaranteed to get even the parents dancing. “We’ll go a little bit into the eighties and nineties. It’s always great fun when the kids look at their parents, what’s going on here, and the parents are happy that they danced,” adds Jaros.
“In April, we will hold a huge concert, the biggest disco show that has ever been here in Slovakia. It will be intended for families with children. To be honest, when I first learned that we should do something like this, I was taken aback and wondered if we would even be able to do it.” says the singer, adding: “Since Mr. Karol Jagoš, who invented this event, believes in us, we are doing everything in order not to disappoint him and to prepare the biggest show that Slovakia has ever experienced for families with children.”
The event is suitable for children from the age of two and every child visitor to the Bratislava concert will receive a gift – a ticket to Aquapark Trnava. Entrance to the hall will be allowed one hour before the start of the performance. Tickets for concerts are also available in the Ticketportal network. The organizers recommend purchasing them as soon as possible, as their price will gradually increase.
