President of Côte d’Ivoire Ouattara sworn in for fourth term


Abidjan – The President of Cote d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast), Alassane Ouattara, was sworn in for a fourth term on Monday. In a speech afterwards, the 83-year-old promised that he wanted to initiate a generational change. Ouattara won the presidential election in October with almost 90 percent. The two most promising competitors were excluded from the election.
