The president of Chega even dropped 0.1 percentage points in relation to the previous month’s survey, also by Aximage. But the 19,1% place Ventura slightly ahead of the competition.

It should be noted that André Ventura had come in third place in the November poll and, a month later, he moved to the top.

This is because the other two main candidates fell: Luís Marques Mendes dropped one percentage point and now has 18,2% of voting intentions.

Henrique Gouveia e Melo is experiencing the biggest drop: a month ago it had 24.4% and was leading; now it is in third position and remains at 17,5% of votes.

The narrow difference between the top three (1.6 percentage points) leaves the three – Ventura, Marques Mendes and Gouveia e Melo – in a technical tie; the poll’s margin of error is 4%.

António José Segurolike Gouveia and Melo, also fell significantly: from 15.7% of voting intentions to just 9,6%, away from the trio in front.

In fact, it now even appears in fifth place, we must João Cotrim Figueiredo is the candidate that rises the most: from 8.2% to 10,5%.

Catarina Martins convinces 5.9% of respondents, Antonio Filipe 2.9% e Jorge Pinto it remains at 1.9%.

A curious fact from this survey: 26.6% of PS voters would vote for Seguro – and 24% of PS voters would vote for Gouveia e Melo.
