Corinthians is analyzing a proposal to launch its own betting house — called “Timão.Bet”. Behind the scenes, the club received an initial master sponsorship offer worth R$453 million for three years, plus 3% of the operation’s profit. The information is from “UOL”.
Recently, the interested company signaled that it could increase the agreement — there is the possibility of the partnership reaching up to R$720 million, which would amount to around R$180 million per year in a four-season contract. Furthermore, the club would have 100% control over the brand and management of the operation.

Will Timão.bet exist?
Despite the attractive financial proposal, the club is very cautious. Internally, managers and the compliance sector express fears related to the history of the company responsible: the brand was only licensed this year, it is still little known in the market — and the company has already appeared in investigations by the “bets” CPI in the Senate
This context contributes to Corinthians’ hesitation in closing the deal. The fear, according to internal sources, is that entering into a new partnership with a company with an uncertain reputation would represent reputational and financial risks for the club.
