The Portuguese team arrives for the clash far from a place in the second phase of the competition. Benfica will still be without Alexander Bah (anterior cruciate ligament injury), Bruma (Achilles tendon) and Dodi Lukebakio (ankle) on Wednesday, but Mourinho should have all the other players available.
Although Gianluca Prestianni was sent off in the Lisbon derby, he could still compete for a place in the attack before serving a suspension in the national championship on Sunday.
Looking for his first goal in the Champions League since the opening round, Vangelis Pavlidis should lead the hosts’ attack: the Greek player shares the lead in the First League’s artillery, with 10 goals.
