Denmark compensates Greenlandic women for forced contraception with IUDs


Copenhagen – Numerous Greenlandic women will soon be able to apply to the Danish state for compensation worth the equivalent of around 40,000 euros if they have had an IUD illegally inserted to prevent pregnancy. The Danish government and a large majority of parliamentary parties have reached an agreement that guarantees financial compensation to those affected by the spiral spiral scandal.
