Businessman supports a survey published in Denmark; but they quickly asked him: “Have you packed your bags yet?”
The origin was a publication in X about a poll recently released in Denmark, which shows that 70% of Danes support the remigration.
Remigration is a controversial term, almost always designed to defend the mass expulsion of migrants and people with foreign roots. Expel citizens from other cultures.
It is an idea widely adopted by right-wing extremists and neo-Nazis. In Germany, the AfD party states that “remigration” refers only to the expulsion of illegal immigrants by legal means.
In Denmark, 7 out of 10 respondents support the deportation of immigrants who have committed any crime. The majority also support the remigration of those receiving social assistance.
“The media labels support for remigration as “far-right”, but this is, in fact, the most normal view among the population”, reads one by analyst Jonathan Pallesen.
Elon Musk supported this idea. and even wrote: “Remigration is normal now”.
Quickly in the comments to that same publication, applause for remigration was repeated.
Illegal immigrant?
But the questions also began: “Have you started packing yet?” or “When will you return to South Africa?”
Musk, one of the harshest critics of illegal immigration in the USA, even said that he was “extremely pro-immigration”. Because “I’m an immigrant in the USA”, he remembered.
“I believe that we need a very broad legal immigration system and that we should let anyone who is hard-working and honest and who contributes to the USA into the country”, recalls .
Elon Musk born in South Africa. He emigrated to Canada when he was 17 years old. Three years later, he went to the USA.
At a conference held in 2013, the businessman’s brother, Kimbal Musk, when remembering the initial phase of the company Zip2, said: “When investors financed us, they realized that we were illegal immigrants.”
“Well…”, he tried to interrupt Elon Musk, but his younger brother reinforced: “Yes, we were illegal”.
Elon Musk, while laughing, comments: “I would say it is a gray area”.
No more is known about this phase of the Musk brothers’ lives.
