The first derailment occurred in the morning near the main railway station – the Odstavné section. According to the information so far, probably there for a reason an incorrectly constructed turnout caused the rail motor unit to derail. The driver’s breath test ended with a negative result.
In the second case, patrols were sent to the railway depot area before 11:30 a.m. According to the information found so far, the locomotive derailed there, “probably due to a so far unknown technical cause.” The police are currently clarifying the circumstances and causes of both cases.
