A unique salad for Christmas. This year you will make it instead of vegetable

This is a salad that can certainly surprise you with its diversity and, at the same time, its well-known taste. Although it is multi-ingredient, all the products included in it are easily available in supermarkets. Thanks to this preparation is not difficultbut the effect is unique. The Christmas salad is richer than the classic vegetable salad – more substantial, colorful and full of various structures (from crunchy to creamy). Despite this, its taste remains homely and very festive. This is a great choice for the Christmas Eve table, especially if you want to serve something different than the salads repeated every year.

Ingredients:

  • 3-4 carrots,
  • 2 parsley,
  • 1/2 taste,
  • 4 eggs,
  • 4 pickled cucumbers,
  • 2 medium apples,
  • 1/2 can of corn,
  • 1/2 can of green peas,
  • 1/2 can of red beans,
  • a small jar of pickled onions,
  • a small jar of soybean sprouts,
  • 4 tablespoons of mayonnaise,
  • 3 tablespoons of natural yogurt,
  • a teaspoon of spicy mustard,
  • salt and pepper to taste.

How to do it:

1. Cook the vegetables. Boil the carrots, parsley and celery in salted water until soft. Set aside to cool. Cut the cooled carrots, parsley and celery into small cubes.

2. Hard-boil the eggs, peel and also cut into cubes.

3. Peel the apples, remove the seeds and cut into small cubes. Pickled cucumbers too. Remember to drain the juice well.

4. Drain the peas, corn, beans and soy sprouts from the brine. You can leave the canned onions whole or cut them in half.

5. In a large bowl, combine chopped vegetables, eggs, apples, cucumbers and all canned ingredients.

6. Add mustard, mayonnaise and natural yogurt. Mix gently but thoroughly. Taste and season with salt and pepper as desired.

Christmas salad tastes best when left in the fridge for an hour.
