Coca-Cola announces Brazilian as new CEO

Henrique Braun, current number two at , will take over the direction of the American soft drinks company from March 31, the group announced in a statement. The Brazilian will replace James Quincey, who led the company for almost nine years, and will become executive president. Braun has worked for the brand for almost 30 years. He is the current executive vice president and was named chief operating officer in 2025.

Braun’s goal will be to improve “the company’s even closer approach to consumer needs,” Coca-Cola said in a statement. “James (Quincey) will continue to play a very active role in the company in his role as executive chairman,” said an independent advisor to the company, David Weinberg, quoted in the statement.

In 2024, the company reported $47.1 billion in revenue, an increase of 3% year-on-year.
