Russia and the US want a long-term solution, the Europeans simply want a truce

In his statements, of course, he did not avoid trying to reject Europe’s efforts for peace in Ukraine, claiming, among other things, that Ukraine’s European allies are not interested in solving the “deeper causes” of the war and are only seeking a “ceasefire and a rest” for the Ukrainian army. On the contrary, as he said: “The misunderstandings with the USA have been eliminated after Witkoff’s visit.”
