The head of Government says that a large majority of the country is working and that whoever joined the strike was the minority part.
The Prime Minister stated, this Thursday, that only a “minority” of workers in Portugal joined the general strike. Luís Montenegro states that there is a large majority who are working.
Speaking to journalists this Thursday, after leaving the meeting Cadvice from Ministros, Montenegro devalued adherence to the strike.
“The country is working and there is a part of the country that is exercising its legitimate right to strike”, the prime minister began by saying.
