The Hjort spring boat was partially badly damaged during its rescue. The remaining parts, together with some of the weapons found, are now in a permanent exhibition in the Danish National Museum in Copenhagen.
The Danish National Museum in Copenhagen houses a boat that is unusual in many respects. Today a wooden patchwork behind glass, the 19 meter long vehicle cruised the seas around 2,400 years ago. Where it came from is a long-standing mystery.
