On Thursday evening and Friday morning (12/12) you have to watch out for fog. The Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute (SHMÚ) therefore issued warnings of the first level for the entire territory of Slovakia with provisional validity until Friday 9:00 a.m.
In all districts, meteorologists expect the appearance of fog with visibility of 50 to 200 meters. They warned that reduced visibility poses a potential hazard to traffic activities. “The occurrence of fog with the specified visibility is common at the given time of year and area, but it can cause minor damage,” they noted.
