Actress Jane Seymour has revealed that she still enjoys an active sex life at the age of 74. The actress, who turns 75 in February, has been married four times and is now dating musician John Zambetti.
“I really have to wake up in the morning and remind myself how old I am, because inside I would say I still feel like someone in my 40s or 50s, maybe 40. I don’t know where the time went, but I have the energy I had when I was 40. I’ll be 75 next year and I’m very sexually active. In a sense, I have become such a poster example that life after seventy still exists,” Jane claimed to People magazine.
“When I look at my mother when she was alive and in her fifties, I would say she was middle-aged. I don’t feel that way at all. I love life. I call it living by experience. I don’t know what will happen tomorrow, so I want to spend my time only on things that I really enjoy and that I like. And I make sure that work is also a fun experience,” she added. Jane also described how she met Zambetti.
“I was very, very single. My friend said, ‘You have to go out with me.’ And I said, “Look, I’m 73, I don’t think I go out packing anymore. I’m done with guys.” But the next day we were connected by a mutual friend, a rapper named Shwayze. He called and said, ‘Hey, I’m performing there next week. Do you want to come? I have someone I want to introduce to you.’ So I went and we met. A day later we talked for a long time over tea and finally went to dinner. Then we found out that his son and my son Sean were friends and he used to come to our house. He is the most amazing, loving and extraordinary man. He’s an emergency room doctor, very skilled, and for the last sixty years he’s had a rock band, The Malibooz, with Walter Egan,” added the actress.
