A festive atmosphere has arrived at the Presidential Palace. Designer Ľubica Pastoreková and her team brought Christmas to the official residence of the head of state. After arriving in the Great Hall, not only President Peter Pellegrini, but all the visitors who have visited here in the past few days enjoy the Christmas tree as if from a fairy tale. You can also view it, you can find photos in the gallery.
This year, the designer surpassed herself and created an exceptional work with a sense of detail, elegance and respect for the historical space of the Grasalković Palace. “Golden glass decorations, delicate mother-of-pearl accents, plumosa and 16,000 sparkling lights create a harmony that underlines the grandeur of the palace halls. Each element was carefully chosen to match the ornamental decoration of the interior and at the same time bring warmth, light and symbolism of the Christmas season,” explained Pastoreková on the social network.
She added that the tree is not just a decoration. “It is a tribute to tradition, culture and the festive atmosphere that accompanies the most beautiful holidays of the year.” she emphasized. The decoration took hours and a lot of work, but the designer published a video in which she transformed an ordinary tree into a symbol of Christmas with the flick of a magic wand. You can find the video at the beginning of the article. They also owe Pastoreková a perfect Christmas decoration influencer Zuzana Strausz Plačková and moderator Jasmina Alagič.
A few days ago, it began to breathe a festive atmosphere even in front of the head of state’s residence. After returning from the Vatican, Pellegrini moved to the Presidential Palace, where the Christmas tree was lit. “I wish that in the spirit of the Holy Father’s message this year, we build bridges between us instead of walls. I firmly believe that we will remove the bad from our lives and that in this beautiful period we will calm down more and enjoy the moments together with our loved ones.” he bequeathed to the Slovaks.
Pellegrini also took over Bethlehem Light from Slovak scouts. The head of Slovak Scouting, Marián Lezo, confirmed that the light will once again travel throughout Slovakia. They will distribute it even during the pre-Christmas weekend.
“Our ambition is for it to reach every Christmas table. We will deliver it by train all over the country and we want to get it to every corner of Slovakia. We are also spreading it beyond the borders, we launched it with the Polish scouts in Zakopane, and we are also planning a meeting with the Ukrainian scouts in Uzhhorod.added Lezo.
Slovak scouts will bring the light to Uzhgorod on December 14, where it will be taken over by Ukrainian scouts at a ceremony. On Saturday, December 20, from early in the morning, scout crews will spread light by train throughout Slovakia and will deliver it to more than 300 municipalities.
