Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in the Turkmen capital of Ashgabat on Friday, the Kremlin and the APA office in Moscow reported on Thursday, writes TASR.
On December 12, events will be held in the capital of Turkmenistan on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the recognition of Turkmenistan’s neutrality, and according to the Kremlin, Putin will also participate in several of them.

“Tomorrow, the president will work in Ashgabat, he is preparing to visit Turkmenistan. An international forum dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust will be held there. The president has several bilateral meetings planned as part of this forum, including a meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan,” said the Kremlin spokesman.
The meeting of the leaders of Russia and Turkey is expected to focus on regional stability, especially on developments in the Caucasus, Syria and trade in the Black Sea region, writes the private Turkish agency ILKHA.
