In his post, Zelensky mentioned that while there are two other relevant documents which concern security guarantees and financial matters.
Among other things, the Ukrainian president claimed that he has instructed the parliament to start investigating ways of holding elections in wartime, which the country’s constitution prohibits.

They are scheduled to discuss the latest U.S. peace efforts to end the war in Ukraine, noting that this is a “critical moment” in the process. Following the announcements about the holding of this conversation between the Europeans and Trump, Kiev also announced that the Ukrainian proposal was finally sent to Washington.
Zelensky’s reference to “when there is security everything else follows”, is open to interpretation as yesterday the president of Ukraine had asked Trump to provide him with strong security guarantees to be able to hold elections in Ukraine within three months despite the war. Trump responded with new pressures
For his part, Donald Trump claimed that he discussed the Ukraine issue “in pretty tough terms” with European leaders during the phone call.
“We talked to the leaders of France, Germany and the United Kingdom, all very good leaders, very good friends of mine. And we talked about Ukraine with quite harsh words. And we’ll see what happens. I mean, we’re waiting to hear their answers before we move forward,” Trump said.
The president also added that European leaders have asked the United States for a meeting this weekend in Europe.
“They would like us to go to a weekend meeting in Europe. And we will decide, depending on what they answer us. We don’t want to waste our time,” said the US president, who again addressed the issue of elections in Ukraine, arguing that “elections are a long time coming.”
