Scary prophecies of Baby Vanga and Nostradamus: THIS (didn’t) work out for them in 2025!

Sixteenth-century French astrologer Michel de Nostredame, known as Nostradamus, and Bulgarian mystic Baba Vanga, who lived until the 1990sare among the most frequently cited names.

According to their supporters, both are credited with prophecies that in some cases overlap with events that took place long after their deaths. But what did they do in 2025? The following text reflects the oracles, as presented by the interpreters of the prophecy from Nostradamus and Baby Vanga.

Nostradamus is credited with saying: “When the inhabitants of European countries see England set up her throne in the background, there will be cruel wars on her sides. The kingdom will be marked by wars so cruel that enemies will rise up within and without. The great pestilence of the past will return again, there will be no more deadly enemy under heaven.”

It didn’t work before: England was not involved in any direct war in 2025, although world conflicts – notably the war in Ukraine and the fighting in Gaza – continued. Although England has not been affected by a large-scale conflict, the enemies within and without can be interpreted freely – for example, knife attacks in Huntingdon and Heaton Park or cyber attacks on retail chains.

It didn’t work at all: No “great pestilence” returned.

According to foreign articles, Nostradamus is cited as the author of the claim that “in 2025 the great powers will meet” and that there will be a visible “decline in the influence of Western countries” along with the rise of new powers.

It didn’t work before: Interpreters of the prophecy do think that Nostradamus was referring to Vladimir Putin, who recently spoke of being prepared for war with Europe, and that China’s influence is also growing, including when it tried to obtain sensitive government information through espionage, but this has been going on for 2 years.

The sentence is attributed to Nostradamus: “Through a long war the whole army will be exhausted, so that they will not find money for soldiers; instead of gold or silver, they will come with leather coins, Gallic brass, and crescent moons.”

Rather it came out: According to the interpreters of the message, these images are related to the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, both countries are really exhausted. But that France and Turkey could play a role in ending the war (the Gallic brass and crescent motifs) is just speculation.

According to foreign articles, Nostradamus wrote: “A ball of fire will rise from the cosmos, the messenger of fate, the whole world is begging. Science and fate in the cosmic dance, the fate of the Earth, a second chance.”

It didn’t work at all: The end of the world did not happen, but the interpreters of Nostradamus’ message defend this by saying that he should have had visions until the year 3797.

According to the quoted text, Nostradamus should have stated: “The garden of the world near the new city, on the way of the hollow mountains: She will be raptured and thrown into a vat, forced to drink waters poisoned with sulphur.”

It didn’t work before: Although positive data have appeared this year on a slight reduction in deforestation and fires in Brazil, at the same time problems with illegal logging and droughts continue, so the overall situation remains neutral.

Baba Vanga was supposed to predict that in 2025, people will make contact with extraterrestrials during a major sporting event.

It failed: According to the interpreters of the prophecy, Baby Vanga saw the drawing of the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Washington, but no one saw any light during the ceremony, and people did not meet the aliens again. Some associate the statement with the flyby of the 3I/ATLAS object, which scientists consider to be a comet, although the public speculates about extraterrestrial origin.

Baba Vanga is also said to have predicted that the year 2025 will be marked by devastating earthquakes.

Rather it came out: Devastating earthquakes occurred in the Philippines in October, in Afghanistan in August and November.

Baba Vanga was also supposed to talk about the devastating war in Europe.

It didn’t work before: The war between Ukraine and Russia continues, and it is devastating, but it is not all of Europe. Likewise, the conflict in Gaza cannot be considered European. However, Baba Vanga left no written records, most of the claims come from her niece Krasimira Stojanova and other followers.
