Sister Anastazja reveals the recipe, the secret of which lies in one surprising addition.

Well-prepared dumplings are an extremely tasty addition to borscht. They are usually stuffed with dried mushrooms and fried onion. It turns out, however, that it is worth adding something else to them to make them tastier. This method is recommended by Sister Anastazja.

The key is to add an unusual ingredient to the stuffing, such as white beans. Its purpose is to combine the taste of other products and additionally give structure to the mass. What’s more, white beans can make you the stuffing will not be dry, so it will not fall apart during gluing.

We also don’t have to worry that it will affect the taste, because not only does it not take away the aroma of the stuffing, but it also enhances their mushroom flavor. Preparing this tasty stuffing with a unique consistency is not complicated. According to Sister Anastazja’s recipe, to make it, we will need the following ingredients:

  • 150 g white beans,
  • 1 onion,
  • 5-6 dried mushrooms,
  • 1 breadcrumbs,
  • frying oil,
  • salt and pepper.

The first step in preparing the stuffing is to soak the beans and dried mushrooms in separate containers. We leave them like this for at least 8 hours. This will make the mushrooms soft and aromatic, and the beans will cook faster.
