An earthquake measuring 4.1 on the Richter Scale was recorded this Saturday in Celorico da Beira, in the district of Guarda.
The shock was felt in several areas of the Guarda and Viseu districts, as well as in Spain.
“The Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere informs that on 13-12-2025 at 00:38 (local time) an earthquake of magnitude 4.1 (Richter) was recorded at the stations of the Continent Seismic Network, whose epicenter was located approximately 4 km west-southwest of Celorico da Beirainforms the institute.
