São Paulo councilor Rubinho Nunes (União Brasil) presented a project that creates a municipal fund to finance projects in the municipality.
The one caused by the passage of one through the state, which knocked down trees onto the electrical wiring. The scenario creates difficulties in restoring energy.
The councilor says that this project is related to another proposal he authored, which authorizes the city hall to grant concessions for the burial of electrical, telephone and telecommunications cables. The text has already been approved in the first round in the Chamber.
“One creates the legal instrument to bury the cables, the other guarantees the financing. It is a structural solution to a problem that today leaves thousands of São Paulo residents without electricity whenever there is a storm”, says Rubinho.
The proposal envisages supplying the municipal fund with fines applied to energy, telephone and internet concessionaires that use overhead wiring.
