Stephen Curry, star of the Golden State Warriors, hit a basket from outside the court in the warm-up phase and left the fans present at the Chase Center, in San Francisco, ecstatic this Friday (12).
The throw of approximately 30 meters took place before the duel with the Minnesota Timberwolves. After making the basket that excited the crowd, Curry turned and ran towards the locker rooms.
Curry has been absent from the Golden State Warriors’ last five games because of a left thigh injury. The player came back excited and scored 39 points, even though his team lost 127 to 120 to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
A two-time NBA scoring champion, Curry made his first three shots and scored eight of the Warriors’ first 12 points. He converted 14 of 28 shots and finished with six three-pointers in 32 minutes on the court.
However, the Minneapolis franchise, even without one of its main stars Anthony Edwards, who is injured, made 27 changes to lead the score, the second most in the current NBA season – and took the lead in the last quarter. Rudy Gobert’s double-double, with 24 points and 14 rebounds, and Julius Randle’s 27 points and nine rebounds made the difference for the visitors.
