In modern walk-in showers, a niche is usually built into the wall for shampoos, shower trays and cosmetics, so that when needed, you don’t have to look for any hygiene items at your feet or in metal shelves from which everything falls. Modern showers can even be closed off like a room and steam can be released in them to create a lighter sauna effect. In some areas, designer handles are also available, which match the color and style of the battery type and the overall interior. They are a support not only for older showerers, but also for ordinary visitors to the “shower corner”. They create a feeling of safety, support and comfort when showering.
Lighting and aroma
Some modern showers also play with other sensual pleasures. They include various lighting effects, for example LED strips in warm light tones. Sometimes the entire “shower show” is complemented by aromatherapy in the form of various scented mixtures and oils. “In some modern showers, there are steam showers that have a reservoir near the steam nozzle (or shower head) where essential oil is dripped, which creates the effect of fragrant steam,” says the expert, adding that it is also possible to use the automatic dosing of fragrant essence through an electric dosing pump.
Favorite fragrances
Popular shower scents include eucalyptus, orange or lavender. If you don’t have a “shower steam” option in the shower, you can at least create a scented corner by putting a bowl of hot water and a few drops of your favorite essential oil in the corner of the room.
