This cake with nuts impresses not only with its taste, but also with its aesthetic appearance. It combines two masses – caramel and nutwhich interpenetrate each other. The bake comes out golden and appetizing, it’s hard to believe it’s his preparation is really simple. The effect will delight even the most demanding gourmets. Crunchy nuts and delicate dough create the perfect duo that makes… everyone wants a second helping. The dessert fits perfectly on the Christmas table. Ingredients:

Cake:

  • 240 g of wheat flour,
  • 4 eggs,
  • 150 g sugar,
  • 100 ml of oil,
  • 1.5 teaspoons of baking powder.

Nut mass:

  • 100 g of butter,
  • 120 g of white sugar,
  • 30 g of brown sugar,
  • 20 ml of cream 30%,
  • 100 g chopped walnuts.

How to do it:

1. Prepare the nut mass, which will be on the bottom when baking and on top when serving. Melt the butter in a pot. Add white and brown sugar – mix until combined. Pour in the cream and heat until slightly thickened. Add nuts and mix. Pour the prepared mass onto the bottom of the form (approx. 24 cm), spreading it evenly.

2. Beat the eggs with sugar until light and fluffy. Pour the oil in a thin stream, mixing constantly. Add the sifted flour and baking powder and mix gently with a spatula. Pour the dough onto the nut mass in the form.

3. Bake at 180°C for 35-40 minutes.

4. Immediately after removing from the oven, turn the cake onto a plate or rack so that the nut filling is on top.

5. Leave to cool.
