Palmeiras wins fourth Paulista Feminino championship – 12/14/2025 – Sport

Palmeiras won this Sunday (14) their fourth Paulista Feminino championship against their biggest rival, Corinthians. The match took place at the Canindé stadium, in the north of São Paulo, with a single crowd, just the Corinthians fans.

The Palmeiras team had already won the title in 2001, 2022 and 2024.

In the first game, held last Sunday (7), at Arena Barueri, in Barueri, Palmeiras had won the match 5-1, with extensive control over the opponent and practically assured the title of the competition.

Even with the advantage gained in the last game, Palmeiras made it very difficult for Corinthians to advance. The Corinthians players even complained about the length of medical care given to the Palmeiras players during the first half.

In the 50th minute of the first half, Corinthians midfielder Duda Sampaio left Vic Albuquerque in front of the goal, but the ball hit the post.

One of the highlights of the match, Corinthians captain Gabi Zanotti suffered and took a penalty 7 minutes into the second half. Thus, Corinthians’ top scorer scored her 18th goal of the season and secured Timão’s only goal in the match.

In the 40th minute of the second half, Joselyn Espinales scored a goal for Palmeira, but it was disallowed due to the player being in an irregular position.
