Shootings occurred at Brown University in Rhode Island in the US. According to what has become known, a masked man opened fire and then tried to leave the scene.
The police have secured parts of the university and are said to have killed the perpetrator of the attack. Local Media reports that there is information about at least twenty people who received bullets without their condition being known.
Police have urged the public to avoid the area as the investigation continues.
