Users give Ibirapuera a score of 9.1, says Datafolha survey – 12/14/2025 – Panel

Regulars interviewed at the request of City Hall gave the space a score of 9.1, on a scale of 0 to 10. One thousand people were interviewed from November 30th to December 7th, with a margin of error of three percentage points.

The survey commissioned by the Ricardo Nunes (MDB) management found that 72% of those interviewed consider that the park is currently better than it was five years ago, when it was granted to the private sector.

There are also high approval rates for items such as infrastructure for sports (96%), conservation (95%), security (88%), cultural activities (80%) and easy access by public transport (76%).

Satisfaction with the food supply has the lowest approval rating, at 66%, possibly reflecting complaints that new snack bars and restaurants charge high prices. No specific question was asked about the costs of eating in the park.

The Ibirapuera concession was made in 2020, under the Bruno Covas administration, as part of a privatization package for various municipal facilities.

Since then, there has been praise for the measure, but also some criticism that the space has been distorted by the profusion of brands and commercial spaces.

The survey also asked if the visitors are so that city hall resources can be released for parks on the outskirts. 87% responded yes.
