Three deputies from left-wing parties posted old videos of protests on social media as if they were taking place this Sunday (14) on the edge of Barra.
The video, which shows a crowd occupying both lanes of Avenida Oceânica and the entire length of Morro do Cristo with protesters shouting “No Amnesty”, was reposted by federal deputies José Guimarães (-CE), (PC do B-RJ) and (-RS).
The images, however, are from m, which featured artists such as Daniela Mercury and Wagner Moura in an electric trio. At the end of the video, you can hear an excerpt from the Bahian actor’s speech in September.
A Sheet between 11 am and 12 pm this Sunday (14), when the protest left Morro do Cristo towards Farol da Barra, occupying only one of the lanes of the avenue. There was no presence of electric trios or speeches by artists at the demonstration.
The video reposted by the deputies was originally published by a militant this Sunday at 7 am, long before the protest began. Throughout the day, it was replicated by influencers and influential pages on the left.
In a note, Fernanda Melchionna’s (PSOL) advisor recognized the error and deleted the post on the parliamentarian’s networks.
“As soon as we learned that we published misleading material, we deleted the post. Our team is very careful about the content it spreads. Unfortunately, we made a mistake, and we corrected the error as soon as we became aware of the mistake.”
José Guimarães and Jandira Feghali’s advisors also reported that the video was posted in error and was deleted from the networks.
