Pre-candidate (at least in theory) for President of the Republic, the senator (PL-RJ) was ignored in speeches and posters at the left-wing protest this Sunday afternoon (14) on Avenida Paulista.
It is a sign, said people present at the demonstration, not seen as a real threat — unlike, for example, Governor Tarcísio de Freitas.
There were several targets of the public present, the main one being the president of the Chamber, Hugo Motta, for having put the project to reduce sentences for coup plotters to a vote.
He was insulted, booed and mentioned in posters that compared him to a rat and said that he was a “coupster’s doormat”, among other insults. To a lesser extent, there was also criticism of the president of the Senate, Davi Alcolumbre (União-AP).
Speeches and posters were also directed to former president Jair Bolsonaro, Tarcísio, mayor Ricardo Nunes (MDB), former mayor Arthur Lira (PP-AL), deputy Nikolas Ferreira (PL-MG) and rapporteur Paulinho da Força (Solidariedade-SP).
Flávio Bolsonaro, meanwhile, went unscathed.
