Ukrainian drone manufacturer Frontline Robotics and Quantum Systems are establishing joint production in Germany. It will be a modern automated production line for the Ukrainian forces.
Ukrainian drone manufacturer Frontline Robotics and German company Quantum Systems announced on Monday that they are establishing a joint venture in Germany, Quantum Frontline Industries, which will produce drones for the Ukrainian armed forces. The companies informed about this on Monday at the German-Ukrainian forum in Berlin. TASR writes about it according to the report of the DPA agency.
This is part of Kyiv’s efforts to move some of its weapons production to safe European countries to avoid possible disruption by Russia.
The first automated line
The company claims the project is “the first fully automated industrial line for the production of drones for the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Europe.”
The director of the joint enterprise, Matthias Lehna, said that the enterprise should be able to produce up to tens of thousands of drones per year. The battlefield-proven logistic drone Linza, the reconnaissance drone Zoom and the remote-controlled Buria machine gun and grenade launcher will be manufactured in German factories.
The cooperation takes place within the framework of the initiative of the Ukrainian government “Build with Ukraine”.
