Pablo Fernández ( Podemos): “If Sumar says that the situation is unsustainable, he would have to leave the Government”
The spokesperson for Podemos, Pablo Fernández, has been very harsh this Monday with the socialist drift and has charged against the cases of corruption and complaints of sexual harassment that haunt the PSOE. “Sexism, corruption and housing are going to take over this Government,” said the Organization Secretary of Ione Belarra’s party, who considered that the Government’s minority partner should leave the coalition if he considers that the situation is “unsustainable.”
“We have a Government that is dead, which corruption, machismo and the lack of measures in housing have taken away. The duty to act corresponds to the PSOE. But nothing that Pedro Sánchez says today is credible, because all the cases of harassment, of machismo, had occurred months ago and everything indicates that the PSOE has been hiding and covering up these cases. This is extremely serious. And the same thing happens with cases of corruption.”
“If Sumar has said that the situation is unsustainable, what Sumar would have to do is leave the Government. A remodeling of the Government is not going to change absolutely anything. We are talking about a structural issue in the PSOE. To talk about a remodeling is to think that there is some minister involved,” Fernández considered in turn.
Podemos has also once again asked to extend the moratorium to prevent the cutting of supplies and evictions in the case of vulnerable families, which expires on December 31, and has requested Spain’s departure from NATO and the closure of the Rota and Morón military bases.
