President Trump attributed the murder of Reiner († 78) to his political stance: The police arrested the director’s son!

U.S. law enforcement agencies on Monday they detained the son of the late director Rob Reiner. According to Reuters, 32-year-old Nick Reiner is charged with murder and bail for his release is set at four million dollars. US President Donald Trump has already attributed the couple’s death to Reiner’s critical stance towards his government, informs TASR.

American director, actor and producer Rob Reiner and his wife Michele Singer Reiner were found dead in their home in Los Angeles on Sunday. Both apparently died as a result of stab wounds. They were called to the place around 3:30 p.m. local time first the paramedics, a few minutes later the police were also sent there.

Trump has already commented on the unfortunate event. The head of the White House blamed the Reiners’ death on the director’s political views without providing any evidence. According to him, the director caused anger among many people with his criticism of the Trump administration.

“He was known to drive people crazy with his rabid obsession with President Donald J. Trump, with his apparent paranoia reaching new heights.” wrote the American president on his social network Truth Social. The Reuters agency reminds that Reiner regularly spoke out on political issues and was known for his liberal views.

Reiner was born on March 6, 1947. He has long been one of the most prolific directors in Hollywood and made some of the most memorable films of the 80s and 90s, such as Spinal Tap (1984), The Princess Bride (1987), When Harry Met Sally (1989), Misery Doesn’t Want to Die (1990) or A Few Right Guys (1992). The last-named drama was nominated for an Oscar for best film.
