The Sirena Gramado project, a high-end tourist complex with more than 205 hectares, was announced this Monday, December 15, at an event that brought together, in addition to authorities, representatives of the project’s creators and managers from the entertainment group DC Set Group, Star Ópera Incorporadora and Club Med.
Sirena Gramado will be structured around the hotel, entertainment and real estate tripod. In the first phase, which will involve R$1.2 billion in investments, a helipad, an outdoor ski slope, 20 houses, a wedding room and an all-inclusive resort, which will carry the Club Med brand, will be delivered. The work, which will be carried out by the construction company Tedesco, from the HTB group from Rio Grande do Sul, is expected to be completed in June 2027.
The project, designed by Dody Sirena, co-founder of DC Set Group – which is behind the organization of events such as Tomorrowland Brasil – and managed by Jaime Sirena, CEO of Star Ópera Incorporadora, inaugurates the concept of Cidade Natureza, a model that uses nature not only as a backdrop, but as a structure. The buildings will be surrounded by a tree climbing park, botanical garden, orchid garden, trails and contemplation spaces – all designed by the architectural firm Jaime Lerner, which designed the architecture and urbanism of the Orla do Guaíba project, in Porto Alegre.

The expectation is that the project will further move the region. “Sirena Gramado will attract even more people to the region, complementing our already excellent network of hotels and restaurants”, stated Luia Barbacovi, vice-mayor of Gramado”, during the launch of the project.

According to Janyck Daudet, CEO of Club Med in Latin America and member of the company’s board, the brand’s presence will help in the internationalization of Gramado. “In addition, we will create a new Club Med School, a school for training and training local hotel service providers, just as we did in Trancoso, Bahia”, he said.

The internationalization plans of the Rio Grande do Sul destination, which suffers from the absence of large airports in its surroundings, are directly related to the Serra Gaúcha Regional Airport, in Vila Oliva, a project that is in the bidding phase for the works, authorized by the Minister of Ports and Airports Silvio Costa Filho in October. R$200 million in Union resources will be invested in the new airport.
Ernani Polo, Secretary of Economic Development of RS and pre-candidate for the government of Rio Grande do Sul in the 2026 elections, was also at the launch of Sirena Gramado and emphasized the importance of tourism in the state. “Tourism is one of the management’s biggest priorities, given its economic importance,” he said.
