The man has traveled to 140 countries of the world, he returns repeatedly to only one: His favorite is in Europe!

British journalist Chris D. Brown visited 140 countries of the world to compare them as a tourist. So he evaluated their beauty, hospitality, modern achievements, originality and other aspects. Brown has now revealed where he regularly returns. In an article for Business Insider he stated, that out of all 140 countries in the world, Spain is worth visiting repeatedly.

His permanent trip destination is Seville. In the text, he explains that people, street art and architecture add to the appeal of a metropolis. According to him, it is therefore no wonder that Seville is a popular tourist destination.

Brown also emphasizes the importance of Spanish cuisine in an article for Business Insider. He especially highlights pinchos – small delicacies typical of the Basque Country in the north of Spain. These include, for example, gildas, i.e. small skewers of olives, anchovies and peppers. Other specialties he recommends include padrón peppers and Alhambra 1925 beer.

However, according to the article, Spain is not only tempting with food. Brown reminds that the country is full of art, culture and architectural monuments. He considers the Alhambra, the medieval palace and fortress in Granada, as well as the Patio de los Leones courtyard with the famous fountain to be impressive.

However, the calculation of Spanish attractions is much broader. In Barcelona, he recommends visiting the iconic Sagrada Familia, Park Güell, the Picasso Museum and many other places. In Madrid, the Prado, the Royal Palace and extensive galleries are said to be worth seeing.

Brown also draws attention to Spanish festivals and traditions. Giant sculptures fill the streets during Las Fallas in Valencia. In February, the city of Sitges hosts one of the biggest carnivals in the country, compared in the article to Mardi Gras in New Orleans. And in August, the peaceful town of Buñol hosts the famous tomato festival.

The text also states that Spain has very good transport links. Brown writes that major cities such as Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia and Seville have excellent public transport. He says it’s easy to travel around the country thanks to subways, buses, intercity trains and flights.
