Group pretended to be the Judiciary Police to carry out violent robberies at luxury homes in Cascais. The only real thing was the guns. At least 10 people were detained this Tuesday.

The (real) Judiciary Police (PJ) is carrying out an operation in Lisbon, this Tuesday, to combat a wave of violent robberies carried out by an organized group posing as the (fake) Judiciary Police.

According to , there are 10 suspects detained who have family relationships with each other.

The morning report also details that the robbers had been operating for at least a year, simulating searches with false warrants, badges and vests. THE the only real thing was the guns.

The main target was luxury homes in Cascais. The criminals arrived beating and kidnapping several victims.

The searches take place throughout the morning in São João da Talha, in Loures, where, according to , the group would have its base. Detainees will be subjected to judicial interrogation to apply coercive measures.
