Alcolumbre: dosimetry project will be voted on on Wednesday – 12/16/2025 – Brasília Hoje

The president of , (União-AP), told journalists this Tuesday (16) that the vote on the project that makes it possible to reduce the sentences of () and others convicted in the January 8 cases will be on Wednesday (17). “Let’s vote,” said the senator.

The proposal must first be analyzed by the CCJ (Constitution and Justice Committee) of the House, in a deliberation that is scheduled for the same Wednesday, before discussion in the plenary.

and will possibly require a new analysis by the Chamber.

Members of the opposition to the Lula government claim that the type of change to be made is only editorial and that, therefore, a new vote by deputies would not be necessary. The rapporteur of the proposal, senator Esperidião Amin (PP-SC), defends this idea.

The president of PL, the main opposition party to Lula, said that a new round between deputies is likely. “There will be an amendment. I believe that Esperidião will do the best project he can, and it should return to the Chamber,” he said as he left the Senate plenary.

The change in the project is motivated by the observation that the text opens. The idea is to make changes to the proposal in order to close this gap.
