The planned flat tax for people who continue to work in a pension has recently found less and less support in the government, even though the project was included in the coalition agreement and already approved by the Council of Ministers. With the departure of Harald Mahrer (ÖVP) as head of the Chamber of Commerce, the inventor of the model also left politics. What has now become clear is now clear: the flat tax is not coming, instead there will be a tax allowance, STANDARD has already reported. The coalition has agreed on 15,000 euros per year, which amounts to 1,250 euros per month.
