Marília de Alencar, career delegate of the Federal Police (PF) and former director of Intelligence at the Ministry of Justice, was convicted of the crimes of criminal organization and attempted violent abolition of the Democratic Rule of Law.
By the same score, the group acquitted Fernando de Sousa Oliveira, a career PF delegate and former director of Operations at the Ministry of Justice, due to lack of evidence.
The session continues to define the sentences of those convicted, the so-called dosimetry.
Accusations
Filipe Martins was accused by the Attorney General’s Office (PGR) of acting as one of those responsible for preparing the draft coup d’état that was produced at the end of the Bolsonaro government.
Mário Fernandes was accused of devising a plan to kill President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, Vice President Geraldo Alckmin and Moraes. The claim was found in a Word file titled Green and Yellow Punhal.
According to the accusation, Marcelo Câmara illegally monitored the routine of Minister Alexandre de Moraes.

According to messages seized on the cell phone of Mauro Cid, a whistleblower and former aide-de-camp to Bolsonaro, Câmara informed Cid that Moraes would be in São Paulo and referred to the minister as a “teacher”. The episode took place in December 2022.
Silvinei Vasques, former director of the Federal Highway Police (PRF), worked to stop the movement of voters for then-candidate Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva in the second round of the 2022 elections.
According to the PGR, Marília de Alencar was responsible for collecting data on which the blitzes were based.

“Traitor of the Fatherland”
The last to vote, Minister Flávio Dino highlighted the accusation against General Mário Fernandes and said that a soldier could be considered a “traitor to the country” if the country were at war.
“If a general mobilizes weapons belonging to his subordinates against members of Brazilian State institutions, if he were in a war scenario, he would be subject to the Military Penal Code as a traitor to the country. The naturalization of the idea that weapons purchased with money from the Brazilian nation could be used against Brazilians is something shocking, very impressive,” he stated.
Defenses
Last week, the defendants’ defense denied the accusations and asked for the defendants’ acquittal.
