After decades of being led by José Maria Eymael, it presented a new visual identity, with the aim of symbolizing the change in its leadership, now exercised by former federal deputy João Caldas (AL).
The party seeks to reinforce Christian values and position itself on the center-right, with the slogan “Faith in Brazil”. “Faith is a central value of the Christian tradition, which inspires commitment to human dignity, social justice, solidarity and the common good”, says Caldas.
For the 2026 election, the party, which currently has no deputy, wants to elect at least one representative in the Chamber. The intention is also to launch the presidential pre-candidacy
